Email to WDC Councillors – #HandsUpForAHandBack

Dear Wycombe District Councillors,

I hope you are well.

As you will be aware, decisions, which at times have had a devastating effect on your constituents, have been made with regards to our hospital services by unelected bodies such as the PCT and CCG.  With more changes planned it is important we protect our hospital (including the land) and demand a return of services such as overnight children’s, full maternity and respiratory services. I am sure you will agree we should be aiming for an Emergency Medical Centre in the interim with a view to return to a fully functioning hospital.

The Chief Executive of Wycombe District Council has been asked for a referendum on Health and the response has been negative.

As an elected Member you are urged to support the ‘Hands Up For A Hand Back’ campaign and send in a photograph of yourself with your hand up supporting the hand back of lost services from Wycombe Hospital.

These photographs will then be displayed on the website: as well as promoted via social media where your constituents and members of the public will be able to see your support.

You can submit your picture via email or via Twitter #HandsUpForAHandBack. Please submit your photographs as soon as possible and by 28th April 2015.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or need help with photographs.

I have included a few links below which you may find useful.

Thank you for your support for this very important cause,
